COVINGTON Ind. (CNS) - John Russell "Weedy" Dunlap, 66, of Covington Route 2, died at 5:35 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 17, 1974) at his home. He had been ill for several months. Born Nov. 17, 1907, in Covington, he was the son of Louis M. and Anna Miles Dunlap. He was married Oct. 24, 1937, to Lillian Davis, who survives. He resided in Covington all his life except for six years in Flagstaff, Ariz. A 1926 graduate of Covington High, he had attended DePauw University at Greencastle. He was a farmer, although he worked as a realtor while residing in Flagstaff. A member and past master of Fountain Masonic Lodge 60 F & AM, he was a member of the Flagstaff Elks Lodge 499, Wallace Low 12 Club and Fraternal Order of Police. Other survivors include three sons, John Louis of Riverside, Calif., Daniel M. of Bishop, Calif , and Edgar R. of Ashland, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy May of Concord, Calif.; and six grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday. Masonic services will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert H. Miller will officiate. - Jlr
